Fitness Medicine and Health Checks Medical Services in Boulder,
Colorado. A leading national expert in the field of sports medicine

development to the pharmaceutical industry. He has received multiple
awards, including those from the National Institutes for Health, and

L. Greene, M.D., is an international leader in human nutrition with
more than 200 original publications in peer-reviewed journals and
book chapters. After serving as Professor of Pediatrics and
Biochemistry and Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt
Center for 18 years, he joined BMS Mead Johnson as Senior Director
of Research and became Medical Director and Vice President of
Slim•Fast Foods Company in 1996. His primary goal is to help reverse
the trend of obesity in the U.S. through self-help programs and meal
replacements. Dr. Greene has served on many national committees on
nutrition, NIH study sections, and is past president of the American
Society of Clinical Nutrition and the North American Society of
Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition. |

David L. Hager has an undergraduate degree in accounting,
a MBA from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Ph.D. in business administration and a Ph.D. in psychology.
He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Personal Trainer, a Certified LifeStyle Counselor? with certification in Weight and Stress Management,
and a Certified Scuba Diving Instructor.
Dr. Hager is Publisher and co-founder of
American Health Publishing Company, Dallas, Texas, and the Executive Director of The LEARN® Institute for Lifestyle Management.
He is also the founder and current President of the American Association of LifeStyle Counselors. Dr. Hager is a member of the
North American Association for the Study of Obesity (NAASO), the American Obesity Association (AOA), the American Marketing Association (AMA),
and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). He has received the Outstanding Performance award from the Texas Department of Health
for his work in stress management. Through his work in the field for more than 13 years, Dr. Hager has come to have a unique understanding and
sensitivity to the issues that face health professionals working with clients in the process of lifestyle change, especially weight and stress management.
His work is devoted to bringing science and its practical application to the general public. |

C. Reisner, Ph.D., C.L.C., is a clinical psychologist in private
practice in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Reisner is one of the West
Coast's leading experts in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, a form
of brief cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. She received her
training in REBT at the world renowned Institute for Rational
Emotive Behavior Therapy in New York City, under the direct
supervision of Dr. Albert Ellis, the founder of REBT. Dr. Reisner
teaches continuing education courses in stress management at UCLA
and Phillip's Graduate Institute while consulting professional
